The course provides analytical tools for the far-right’s communication strategies on social media to defend climate denialism and a study of the social media business model that fosters not only climate denial messages but also an entire industry of hoaxes. We will also analyze how climate denial discourses are constructed and circulated and how they connect with discursive Trumpism. Finally, we will hold a practical workshop on the DANA in Valencia.
