Next November 28th, from 5 to 8PM in the Aula Magna of the Historic Building of the Oviedo University, the I Seminar on Glotopolitic Research will take place, on the principles and uses to the sociolinguistic study. This event is part of the Asturian Language Seminar, hosted by the quoted university.
The MIRCo center will participate on this seminar, thanks to two of its members, Laura Villa and Lara Alonso, who will join Martín Vázquez (Santiago de Compostela University, Real Academia Galega), José del Valle (Graduate Center, City University of New York) and moderator Gonzalo Llamedo (Oviedo University) to the foundations of the glotopolitical perspective and its suitability to study the sociolinguistic reality on the Spanish State.
