Enrollment is now open for the course on “Teaching Spanish to Migrants and Refugees”, which will take place between August 24th and 27th in Baeza (Jaén), organized by the International University of Andalusia (UNIA).
This course, lead by Dr. Guadalupe Ruiz Fajardo (Columbia University) and Aurelio Ríos Rojas (Universidad de Granada) and recognized by the Instituto Cervantes, will try to provide the competences and tools for teachers to plan and manage Spanish teaching to migrants and refugees. Its orientation is mainly practical, and will allow to apply directly the acquired knowledge in the classroom. It will also have the presence of Clara Molina, MIRCo-UAM secretary, as professor.
Enrollment is available until August 19th. Besides, scholarships are also offered, to help pay the course and accommodation costs. To get more information, please consult the course’s official website here.
