On June 4 at 8:00 p.m., the poetic concert Cántico espiritual: Music and Words of St. John of the Cross and St. Teresa of Jesus will take place. The event is supported by the Cultural Activities Department of the Autonomous University of Madrid. It will be held at the Tribueñe Theater (c/Sancho Ávila St. 23, Madrid).
This event will feature Luzma Ferrández Rivera on piano, Lorena Muñoz Prieto performing the canticles, and our MIRCo colleague Pilar González España, who will recite the verses. Tickets can be purchased on the theater’s website via this link.
In addition, another performance of this recital will be held on June 26 at the Cátedra Mayor of the Ateneo de Madrid (C/Prado, 21) at 7:30 PM. On this occasion, no ticket is required.
For this second edition, in addition to the team from the first event, we will be joined by Margarita Hernando de Larramendi Martínez as the host, as well as poet Alan Smith Soto.
