The languages we speak are far more than mere means of communication; they imply our life’s story, our relationships, the sense we give to our world and reflect our identity. This is why linguistic discrimination and the lack of recognition of different ways of speaking constitute injustices and impede the development of an open, inclusive linguistic citizenship.
